GPRS8000-S Module GPRS (General Packet Radio Services) is a packet-based wireless communication service which is used for various data applications on phones, including wireless Internet (WAP), MMS, and software that connects to the Internet. It is an overlay to the GSM network. Embest GPRS8000-S module is an ARM based embedded GPS module which allows to connect to Embest Devkit8000 OMAP3530 board for GSM/GPRS solution. GPRS8000-S Module Below picture shows how to connect the GPRS8000-S module to Embest Devkit8000 board. Devkit8000's UART (the serial port) from the expansion connector is used to communicate with the GPRS module.
